Join us for a hands-on candle making experience designed to be both creative and informative. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or on your own, this workshop is an opportunity to slow down, learn a new skill, and create something uniquely yours.
What to Expect
This 1-hour guided workshop will walk you through the full candle making process from start to finish. You’ll learn about candle prep, proper wicking techniques, scent blending, and the finishing details that bring everything together. No experience is necessary—just come ready to create.
All Okanagan Candle Co. products will be available to shop at 20% off following your workshop experience. Exclusions apply.
Where It’s Hosted
Workshops are hosted in our local storefront at #104-1195 Richter st. Kelowna BC.
What You Make
During the workshop, you’ll create two custom candles that are 8oz each. You have the opportunity to mix and combine scents to develop your own one-of-a-kind fragrance blends, resulting in candles that are completely unique to you.
Candles will not be ready for pickup the same day, as they require time to cure. Once ready, they can be picked up in-store or shipped for an additional cost.
Private Workshops
Looking for a team building event, hosting something for your company, celebrating a bachelorette, or even just for fun? We offer private workshop bookings for you and your group with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 guests. Bring your own food and drinks and book the space for 1.5 hours (1 hour for candle workshop and 30 minutes for relaxing and socializing). We have glassware and clean up covered! Participants must be 13 years or older. Ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult (all attendees must have purchased a class spot).
Payment is due at time of booking.
Public workshops run with a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum is not met, we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your booking and may combine with another small group.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your spot, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Please note that all bookings are non-refundable, but we are happy to accommodate a rescheduled date when sufficient notice is provided.
Workshops may not be suitable for people with scent sensitivities.
Washrooms are available on site.
