We believe in the spreading of love and joy that goes into making our products, these workshops take place in our storefront and workspace and provide a hands-on experience in the curation of your very own custom candle.The candle making class is a 1 hour (approx.) experience that goes through the basics of candle curation including scent building, mixing & melting, and aesthetics.
What to expect
Classes begin promptly so please arrive 10 (ish) minutes early so you can get settled and we can get to know you! Everyone gets their own station with all supplies necessary including an apron. After going through some details related to candle making you will get to choose from over 40+ different fragrance oils, you can even mix multiple fragrances to make a unique scent just for you. The class finishes off with mixing the fragrance oil with the wax at the exact right temperature and pouring it into a 16oz vessel in the colour of your choice. Following the workshop all attendees will have access to 20% off all Okanagan Candle co products from the retail store*

One 16oz double wick 100% soy wax candle
Candles are not taken home day of as they need minimum 24 hours to cool. You can pickup at our storefront following this cooling time once you are contacted, or get your candle shipped right to your doorstep for a $15 fee.
Private Workshop
Looking for a team building event, hosting something for your company, celebrating a bachelorette, or even just for fun? We offer private workshop bookings for you and your group of up to 12. Bring your own food and drinks and book the space for 1.5 hours (1 hour for candle workshop and 30 minutes for hanging out). We have glassware and clean up covered! We require attendees to be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult. Payment is due at time of booking. Life happens, cancellations due to illness, emergency..etc. requires at least 48 hours of notice prior to class time for a full refund. All public workshops must consist of a minimum of 4 people. Any classes under 4 will be rescheduled and combined with another small booking to reach our minimum. You will be contacted 2 days prior to the workshop if we need to reschedule.
